Question: How do I keep my dog's CrittEar earplugs clean?
As with any product that is inserted into ears, our CrittEar in-ear noise reduction dog earplugs require cleaning after use.
Our patented products require gentle cleaning with soap and water after each use.
For groomers and other’s who wish to disinfect our dog earplugs:
“It is recommended to remove any visible wax or debris from the plugs with soap and water, pat them dry and then apply a disinfectant. Select from a 2-3% solution of chlorhexidine, 3 % hydrogen peroxide, or 70 % alcohol or a commercial quaternary ammonium disinfectant. It is recommended to wipe on or spray on the disinfectant and allow the earplugs to air dry rather than have them submerged in the solutions.”Dr. Lori Blackwell, CrittEar Veterinary Consultant
