Leaving dogs in a locked car is never safe. But when the weather gets warmer, it can be deadly. High temperatures can cause irreparable organ damage and even death. Please leave your dogs at home instead of leaving them locked in a car while you run errands. And if you see a dog locked in a car, take down the car’s make, model and license plate number.
